Safe Drinking Responsibility:

In Kentucky, the only thing we take more seriously than our bourbon is our commitment to doing what’s right. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival (KYBF) remains a “sampling” festival and upholds a responsible consumption approach, in alignment with the Kentucky Distiller’s Association and our participating distillers.

We believe moderation and safety should be promoted with the same level of character that we bring to our spirits, and the KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL is committed to the promotion of sensible and socially responsible consumption of alcohol. To that end, the KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL provides free bottled water, multiple hydration stations for refilling bottles, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages along with numerous food options on-site. The festival also offers free shuttles between Bardstown and Downtown Louisville and continues to pursue additional transportation options.

The KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL encourages guests to enjoy responsibly. The KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL and participating distilleries follow all Kentucky laws governing the service of alcohol. All KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL and distillery representatives reserve the right to remove guests from the festival if their behavior violates our attendee policy. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival is not liable for any attendee’s actions or negligence, regardless of if those actions or negligence results in injuries to third-parties or to the attendee. Any attendee who fails to drink responsibly or becomes overly intoxicated may be removed from the festival grounds.

THE HOLDER OF THIS TICKET (“YOU” OR “YOUR”) IRREVOCABLY PERMITS, AUTHORIZES, LICENSES, AND GRANTS THE KENTUCKY BOURBON FESTIVAL AND ALL OF ITS SUCCESSORS AND AFFILIATES (“KYBF”) WITH YOUR ABSOLUTE AND UNCONDITIONAL CONSENT, WAIVER, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ALLOWING KBF TO PUBLICIZE AND COMMERCIALLY EXPLOIT YOUR IMAGE AND IN ANY PRESS, INFORMATIONAL, OR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL IT MAY PUBLISH.
